EUPhilBio was launched in 2021 at the initiative of Petar T. Mitrikeski (Croatia). In cooperation with Predrag Šustar (Croatia) and David Dunér (Sweden), the inaugural meeting was convened in 2022. The invited speakers were Arnon Levy (Israel) and Eörs Szathmáry (Hungary), with distinguished guests Franz Klein (Austria) and Mauro Santos (Spain). In 2024, Daniel J. Nicholson (United States) joined the initiative. These individuals now constitute the core of EUPhilBio.
